Android Applications Demystified
Android is a computer software platform for mobile devices. It is comprehensive with operating system, middleware and applications. Google, Inc acquired the firm in 2005, and owns the Android App Marketplace, which has a big community of programmers who write applications. Other competitive platforms contain Symbian, Apple iOS and Windows Telephone 7.
